Rhonda Bergeron joined Surgical Associates of Opelousas as a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2007. Prior to joining our team, she worked in Family Practice and Internal Medicine as a FNP. Before attending and while completing Nurse Practitioner school, Rhonda worked as a registered nurse in the speciality of hemodialysis.
Rhonda earned her nursing degree as a registered nurse from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge and her bachelors of science in nursing from Northwestern State University. She then completed her Master's of Science from Northwestern State University in Shreveport in 2005 while simultaneously finishing her preceptorship as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Creditialing Center.
Rhonda Bergeron, FNP-BC is a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
